An exciting anouncement

We are mega excited to tell you that we have a new DT member joining us.................Jo Channon.

As well as being our Guest Designer during October, lots of you will know Jo from her regular spots on Create and Craft and just last week she announced that she is going to be working for Joanna Sheen...................is that a dynamic duo or what to feast our screens.

I'll be totally honest that when Jo told me that news I thought there was no way I was going to persuade her to join our DT, but thought if you don't ask you don't know, so you can imagine just how excited I was when she said yes.

So please join myself and the whole Design Team in welcoming Jo to Allsorts on a permanent basis.

You can visit Jo's blog Lets Create here or from the link on the sidebar.

Week 126 - Halloween

Hello everyone, I'm just hijacking Fleur's post to share some news, we are sooooooo sorry to tell you that Amanda has decided to step down from the team. She recently moved and much as she loves her new house, it's a lot larger than her last ones so lots more housework and demands on her time, so she feels it's time to take a break from crafting.

Amanda has been with us right from the start and we want to say a huge thank you to her for helping us get Allsorts securely on the challenge map. I know we will still see her about in blogland but want to wish her and her family every happiness in their new house. Over to Fleur now who will tell you all about this weeks challenge.

Hi Fleur here, Thanks B. We'll all be sad to see her go.
Thanks for your gorgeous lavender and lace entries, there were some truly stunning creations.
This week I've chosen the theme and as it's halloween shortly I'd like to see.....

Week 152 Winner and Top 5

Goodness me this week seems to have flown by and I only realised just in time that I needed to ask Mr Random Org., to select a winner and for me to choose my Top 5 which was as always a really tough task as I loved every one of your entries.

So here we go, this weeks winner who will receive their choice of four images from A Passion for Stamps is............

No 41 Lisa Jane (must really be your lucky week)

Congratulations Lisa, please mail me brenda@ibas.co.uk with so I can pass it on to Ruth who will contact you direct about getting your images.

And my Top 5, in no particular Order as Brucie and Tess would say are..................

So elegant with the black lace and contrasts

I just fell in love with this image and her pantaloons

I'm always a sucker for Vintage and adore the embellies

What a darling little fairy and pretty backing

Such a soft floaty feel, totally lends itself to lilac

Week 125 Lavender and Lace

A very Good Morning to you all, it's B here with a new challenge for you.

But before I tell you about that, wow oh wow, did you love Debs Bear with Us theme last week, some fabulous entries and I am so pleased the task of selecting her winners did not fall on me. Make sure you check Debs post to see if you were one of the lucky ones selected.

So on to this weeks theme which is Lavender and Lace. As always you can make whatever you like, all I ask is that there is some lace and of course the main colour is lilac.

I am pleased to welcome Ruth from A Passion for Stamps as this weeks sponsor and she will be giving the winner four images of your choice as this weeks prize. Here is a little bit about her........

“My name is Ruth and I live in Northern Ireland with my husband and two grown up sons.I started drawing my own images for my cards a couple of years ago and A Passion for Stamps was born! Since then I have got a great Design Team on board making beautiful cards using my images. I draw a wide range of images including florals, animals, birds, cute, male etc and love to use punches to complement them. Please pay us a visit and if there is something you'd really like drawn, feel free to drop me a line."

And here is the lovely card Ruth has created for us this week................
